We are glad to announce that our release 1.0.5 is available !

 

This release marks a new milestone of the neXtep designer development since you will now be able to version control the structure and the reference data of your database applications.

 

We will soon post more detailed articles about what you can do and how to do it, but here is a list of the newly available features :

  • Data set management and version control
  • Data-oriented synchronization
  • Data-oriented reverse synchronization
  • Data comparison editors
  • Brand new SQL client with transaction support, on-the-fly edition, export options and tons of other cool features
  • Instant SQL execution from any SQL editor through F5, F8 or CTRL+ENTER which converts dynamically an editor into a SQL-client
  • DB2 support : DB2-based neXtep repository, DB2 database vendor support. This is a first release, the support will be improved soon.
  • New deliveries view : you can now navigate on previously released deliveries
  • Repository installatation process is now 10 times faster !
  • Automatic check for updates after startup
  • And a lot of bug fix, stability & performance improvements

 

As usual, your current installation will automatically upgrade to 1.0.5 by going into the menu Software > Check for neXtep updates Please send us your feedbacks on these features (and on everything else).
